Our Services

Pre-Design

Our Pre-Design service begins with a site visit where we meet with you to understand your vision & design ideas. During this time we also perform these three services:
Design Recommendations: We'll discuss options, including different types of wood and door designs, to help you make informed decisions.
Infrastructure Considerations: We'll identify any necessary changes to gas, plumbing, or electrical systems that may impact the project.
Initial Sketch & Measurements: We'll create a quick sketch of the design for your approval and take precise measurements to ensure accuracy.

Design

Utilizing advanced CAD software, we transform our quick on-site sketches and precise measurements into detailed, accurate blueprints. This phase includes:
Blueprint Approval: You'll have the opportunity to review the design, ask questions, request modifications, and give your final approval.
Project Pricing: Once the blueprint is finalized, we'll provide you with a project quote. This price is typically valid for two weeks. After that, we may need to adjust the quote to reflect any changes in material costs.

Build

Every cabinet we build is uniquely customized to your specifications, ensuring a one-of-a-kind creation just for you.
Handcrafted In-House: Our cabinets are meticulously crafted by hand in our workshop, ensuring the highest quality.
Solid Wood Construction: We use only solid wood for our cabinets—no OSB, particle board, or chipboard. Our selection of woods includes oak, hickory, maple, soft maple, poplar, pine, ash, mahogany, pecan, knotty alder, and IPE, a durable Brazilian hardwood. For outdoor projects, we use teak or similar marine-grade woods to withstand the elements.
Lead Time: Most custom cabinet projects are completed within 2-3 weeks.

Delivery & Installation

We handle the delivery and installation of all our cabinets and built-ins with care and precision. Here’s what you need to know about this phase:
Clean Workspace: To ensure a smooth installation, we require a clean driveway free of construction debris, such as nails. The interior work area should also be clean and prepared for the proper installation of your custom cabinets.
Timing of Delivery: We typically deliver and install after drywall has been completed but before trim and flooring are installed. When we deliver, we need a clear line of site from our trailer to the main entry.
Installation Timeline: An average kitchen installation takes about 2 days. To maintain the quality of our work, we do not install if other subcontractors (such as plumbers, HVAC technicians, painters, or electricians) are present and working on site. We've found that having complete access to the space ensures a seamless installation process.

Follow-Up

Once the painting, flooring, and final cleaning are complete, we return to the site to ensure everything is perfect. Our follow-up work includes:
Door and Drawer Adjustments: We carefully adjust doors and drawers to ensure smooth operation. Please note that doors left waiting to be finished without paint or stain will be affected by the South Texas humidity, and in such cases, will not be covered under our warranty.
Hardware Installation: We install any required hardware, such as knobs and pulls, to complete the look of your custom cabinetry.
